Sound Bath Healing Experiences

with Dr. Brad

Sound Healing combined with Breathwork…

…is a therapeutic modality that’s been used for thousands of years in different contexts. For example, The first known use of instrumental music as a healing force comes from the Australian Aborigines who are known to have used the didgeridoo as a healing tool for more than 40,000 years. The ancient cultures of Tibet, China, India, Latin America, Africa, and even Europe in ancient Greece used sound for ceremonies and as a way to heal various physical, mental, and emotional ailments.

Here at YHC…

…we use Crystal Tones singing bowls for our sound healing classes and events. Traditional singing bowls date back 5000 years and originally come from Nepal, India and Tibet. In the shamanic Bonpo religion of the Himalayas, shamans have been using singing bowls to journey with sacred sound for thousands of years.

Modern studies have shown that singing bowl sound meditation can produce physiological and psychological responses, reducing negative affect and increasing positive affect, as well as improving blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate.
