HOT26+ YOGA
Here for you since 1996
Welcome to Yoga Health Center
Where yoga is more than just a practice—it's a way of life.
HOT26+ has been our signature class for over 28 years. Here you’ll find a growing community of committed practitioners who have shown up on the mat for years. We also welcome those who drop in and just want to try it.
There is infinite depth in the 26 postures and every class is an experience in itself.
Designed to be suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners, our studio has been a consistent anchor for those seeking balance, growth, and a deeper connection to their practice.
Our studio currently offers more than 85 classes a week, heated and non-heated.
What is HOT26+?
HOT26+ consists of set of 26 postures designed to systematically work the whole body and mind. Students follow the dialogue which focuses on safely doing the postures (asanas).
Each class is conducted in a heated room with temperatures at 105 degrees Fahrenheit, which promotes sweating and detoxification. The heat also helps to warm up the muscles, making it easier to move deeper into each posture.
Each posture is held for a specific amount of time, allowing students to develop strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance. The teacher will also offer modifications.
The practice is challenging yet suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners!
We offer: 60 min, 75 min, 90 min classes

Over a 5-year period, premenopausal people who practiced Hot Yoga had increased bone density in their hips, lower back, and neck, according to a May 2014 study in Scientific Research.
Colorado State Researchers found women burned around 330 calories during a 90-minute hot yoga class, while men burned around 460 calories.
One April 2019 study in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that one session of hot yoga gets your heart pumping at a similar rate as a brisk walk (3.5 mph).

“I have been doing Bikram yoga religiously for about 20 years in the Sacramento region. I recently moved to San Carlos and was so stoked to see a studio that was close and had so many offerings!! The teachers and students are very welcoming and though I was used to the standard 26&2 (HOT26), I actually very much enjoy the 60 minute practice with planks!! I also appreciate that they offer free community classes to make yoga accessible for all and that they different trainings to build on more difficult yoga poses.”
- Sherri, July 2024
“Unique asanas in the hot yoga, good flow courses, and wonderful restorative yin as well. Got a nice range of classes. But the hot yoga asanas are very special and unlike something I experienced outside of the Yoga Health Center.”
- Kevin, October 2023
“I am a lover of Bikram yoga, and I definitely found my yogi home at Yoga Health Center. The studio is spacious, calming, and hot and humid like we like it! The instructors are kind and helpful - and I love the one-hour HOT26+ session option; it's just enough to feel worked out, but not too lengthy to take up your entire evening after work.”
- Erica, July 2021
“It's a friendly and encouraging community feel and the classes I've taken are excellent. The hot yoga in particular has made a huge difference in my body. I've gained muscle strength and my joints are thanking me.”
